We took the decision to get back into concrete properly. As a result we decided to buy a Liebherr mobile mix 3.0 concrete plant. This large investment came from the lack of high quality and fast service the industry was lacking in the area with our previous customers asking for us to come back.
The Mobilmix 3.0 offers users up to 132m3 per hour output with Liebherr’s Litronic-MP3 control system. As the name suggests, the Mobilmix range allows users to relocate the plant when necessary and is constructed in such a way that demobilisation and relocation can be undertaken quickly and safely with the plant ready to work in just a few days.
The entire plant is delivered in sections which are easily craned into place. The control cabin is fully fitted out prior to leaving the Bad Scheussenreid factory in Germany further decreasing the set up time on site. With the modular nature of the plant, it can be configured to meet almost any size of site allowing immense flexibility.
Whilst the heart of the plant uses the 3m3 twin-shaft mixer, customers can choose up to six cement silos and up to 5 aggregate bins. We opted for three cement silos giving a maximum capacity of 300 and a line of five aggregate bins with a capacity of 250 tons to allow a variety of material to be stored and reducing the amount of time we need to be restocked.
The plant was constructed in august 2024.
